1. STATEMENT REGARDING THE 2015 FINAL MILLAGE AND 2015-2016 FINAL BUDGET

Description

The 2015 proposed Required Local Effort Millage rate represents a 5.52% increase over last year’s rolled back millage rate.  The total 2015 proposed millage rate represents a 5.66% increase from last year’s rolled back millage rate.  The operating millage is required to hire staff for the school district, pay negotiated salary and fringe benefits to staff, and the cost of fuel, electricity, and other goods and services.
